‘NextGenFDI’ to trigger next wave of startup entrepreneurship, tech talent migration from India to UAE

Several India-based startup ventures are seriously considering either expanding their operations or relocating their headquarters to Dubai or other major cities in the UAE. 

“There has been a series of initiatives in the last 18 to 24 months by UAE authorities to attract both tech talent and tech entrepreneurs into the country. ...A significant flow of financial and human capital in the tech sector...” A Ramachandran, CEO of MyRCloud, a recruitment marketplace, told Arabian Business.

The UAE is set to see large-scale migration of tech talent from India in the coming months and years, fuelled by the ambitious digital drive and growing startup incubation in the country, sector experts said. “We expect the momentum [in the outflow to the UAE] to gain significantly going forward,” added the chief executive of MyRCloud, which has several clients in the UAE.
